The supporters of RockCity F.C. booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marino Grazia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ángel Mena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Erwin Pellicer made a huge save. Ángel Mena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Erwin Pellicer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marino Grazia in the 10th minute of play forced RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Cagua Seoane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Pellicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Di Crescenzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. GUAYACO's zone, Angelo Di Crescenzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erwin Pellicer came out of the goal and Angelo Di Crescenzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Alberto Spencer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Spencer got free with Erwin Pellicer in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ángel Mena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Erwin Pellicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Spencer in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Pellicer saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alberto Spencer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erwin Pellicer was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25thth minute of the game Alberto Spencer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match Alberto Spencer climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Erwin Pellicer. Erwin Pellicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Mena in the 31st minute of play. Cagua Seoane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Estopinal in the 33rd minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer got control of the ball when Ángel Mena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The RockCity F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cagua Seoane should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimmy Estopinal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Estopinal charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy Estopinal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jimmy Estopinal hit a great ball. Erwin Pellicer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Spencer in the 53rd minute of the match. Erwin Pellicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Di Crescenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. RockCity F.C.'s Cagua Seoane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save RockCity F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. GUAYACO's Jimmy Estopinal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cagua Seoane. That made the score 2-2 after 58 minutes of play. C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ángel Mena in the 65th minute of play. When RockCity F.C.'s Alberto Spencer in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Cagua Seoane made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jimmy Estopinal sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alberto Spencer managed to get in a good position for a shot. RockCity F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Spencer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwin Pellicer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. GUAYACO's Ortiz Enderica was substituted for Rui Prado. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Spencer in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Pellicer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Sérgio Silveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Cagua Seoane however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th minute, Fabian Reborio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
