Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marino Grazia in the 15th minute of play. Dawid Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Estopinal in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A. GUAYACO's Erwin Pellicer got control of the ball when Maximo Villamarin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximo Villamarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Johnny Arona in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Red Reign's Ignacio Chaniz. GUAYACO's Váldson Macedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Dawid Ratulowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Red Reign booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Arona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Pellicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Villamarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Maximo Villamarin made the kick off in the second half. Erwin Pellicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Marino Grazia fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. GUAYACO's protests and gave Marino Grazia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marino Grazia hit a great ball. Gustavo Vera hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Johnny Arona got a free kick in the 68th minute. Erwin Pellicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Red Reign's Kaviedes Fuentecilla was substituted for Wincenty Szel. Vânderson Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Red Reign's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rui Prado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 95th minute of the match, Jimmy Estopinal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dawid Ratulowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
