The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of REAL MADRID booed when Pivigui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julen Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID's goal looked a bit too open when Faron Costoya came free, but Bihar Arregui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bihar Arregui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julen Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Bianco Colombo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. REAL MADRID's Bihar Arregui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Santin in the 18th minute of play. Seme Campanero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlandus Pimentel in the 19th minute of the match. Bihar Arregui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faron Costoya in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID's Santikurtz Lezarazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seme Campanero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pivigui's zone, Orlandus Pimentel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seme Campanero came out of the goal and Orlandus Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santikurtz Lezarazo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Seme Campanero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL MADRID. If Ramon Recemill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Colombo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute, Niceto Santin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Recemill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramon Recemill was the one to do the kick off. Ramon Recemill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seme Campanero having to interfere. Seme Campanero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santikurtz Lezarazo in the 53rd minute of play. REAL MADRID's Ramon Recemill got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacob Sobremonte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Jacob Sobremonte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Ramon Recemill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seme Campanero was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. REAL MADRID's Santikurtz Lezarazo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, REAL MADRID's Bianco Colombo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seme Campanero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santikurtz Lezarazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bihar Arregui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Sobremonte in the 72nd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Santikurtz Lezarazo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MADRID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santikurtz Lezarazo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Jacob Sobremonte made a precise shot to the right of Bihar Arregui. REAL MADRID's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Bihar Arregui came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pivigui's Jacob Sobremonte. But to his dismay, Jacob Sobremonte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 88 played minutes Pivigui got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Vellosillo. Bihar Arregui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Santin in the 93rd minute of the match. With a little luck, REAL MADRID's Bihar Arregui got control of the ball when Jacob Sobremonte tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Orlandus Pimentel fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL MADRID's protests and gave Orlandus Pimentel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, REAL MADRID's Orlandus Pimentel got a free kick in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
