The supporters of Angelopolis booed when Penitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sauveur Guardia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Angelopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Sauveur Guardia came free, but Guilherme Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lordi Ron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergi Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tiso Laiseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angelopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiso Laiseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Opilano Villamizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guilherme Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Valdevielso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes, Penitas's Platon Dopacio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guilherme Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Penitas reached it. Angelopolis's Guilherme Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Valdevielso in the 60th minute of play. Guilherme Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Valdevielso in the 70th minute of the match. If Xuaco Trevilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Lordi Ron got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guilherme Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Valdevielso, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Lordi Ron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Guilherme Garcia made a huge save. 94 minutes into the game, Xuaco Trevilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Opilano Villamizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Penitas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Angelopolis had won, even though Penitas had held more of the ball.
