If Frantzes Lazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veronica Quintanilla's late challenge caught a DFS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veronica Quintanilla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of DFS booed when MONTELIBANO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONTELIBANO F.C's goalkeeper Hug Herbi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enetz Alire kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. DFS's Renaldo PayµN couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The MONTELIBANO F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DFS were winning 0-1.

They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DFS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
