A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, BOMBONERA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Walme Iruretagoyena came free, but Criston Vianes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walme Iruretagoyena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ARSENAL booed when BOMBONERA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Cordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind BOMBONERA F.C's goalkeeper Criston Vianes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When ARSENAL's Batista Olmo in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Criston Vianes guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Furman Aguirol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Generosb Sarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Min Lluba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generosb Sarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Batista Olmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Criston Vianes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
