Bidun Holgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Barbot in the 29th minute of the match. Santos Berrueta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Barbot in the 31st minute of play forced Deportivo Pasto's goalkeeper Bidun Holgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Indio Bob was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viviano Celaya to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pasto's Etxekopar Canto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After the first half Deportivo Pasto were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Etxekopar Canto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beliran Bermudo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 53rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hitz Gatell would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 59 minutes into the game, Beliran Bermudo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hitz Gatell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bidun Holgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonsalve Almonacid went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes of play, Indio Bob's Sabino Barbot made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bidun Holgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pasto's goalkeeper Bidun Holgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sabino Barbot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Etxekopar Canto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hitz Gatell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabino Barbot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pasto's goal looked a bit too open when Gonsalve Almonacid came free, but Bidun Holgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Pasto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sabino Barbot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pasto's zone, Sabino Barbot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bidun Holgado came out of the goal and Sabino Barbot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Berlanga might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bidun Holgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Berlanga ran back to his position shaking his head. Bidun Holgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Berlanga in the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Sabino Barbot notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Deportivo Pasto's Bidun Holgado. Bidun Holgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Indio Bob had played much better football throughout.
