The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Cabañitas DFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabino Palomera. 9 minutes into the match, Danta's goal looked a bit too open when Tabby Sobaler came free, but Peio Lluberas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urki Pavolleta hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When Hustaz Dehesa came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Danta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hustaz Dehesa couldn't finish the play. Danta's Peio Lluberas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tabby Sobaler in the 25th minute of play. Behe Negral hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ignazio Eguiara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hustaz Dehesa in the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hustaz Dehesa in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignazio Eguiara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hustaz Dehesa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignazio Eguiara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute Hustaz Dehesa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignazio Eguiara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oso Anduiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Peio Lluberas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Gabino Palomera notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Danta's Peio Lluberas. Peio Lluberas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tonio Millano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Balasi Ahumada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignazio Eguiara. Cabañitas DFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Peio Lluberas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonio Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Cabañitas DFC booed when Danta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oto Alison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behe Negral, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Tonio Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peio Lluberas was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The supporters of Cabañitas DFC booed when Danta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balasi Ahumada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peio Lluberas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oso Anduiza went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 78th match minute, Cabañitas DFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christovao Coracera to maneuver through the defense. When Oto Alison came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Danta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oto Alison couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Danta getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcos Ojeda hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Cabañitas DFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micael Maide to maneuver through the defense. Peio Lluberas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonio Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peio Lluberas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oso Anduiza in the 86th minute of play. If Manoel Matamoros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tabby Sobaler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabañitas DFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tabby Sobaler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peio Lluberas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urki Pavolleta kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Danta's Hustaz Dehesa got a free kick in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cabañitas DFC fully deserved thier win.
