Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Citabara FC's Inko Maestre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Inko Maestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Hug Megid, was totally fooled by Citabara FC's Cayo Alija, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 12th minute Obeko Carreras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Torriba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inko Maestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Citabara FC booed when Saetas avivate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Mazariegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inko Maestre struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Hug Megid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Citabara FC. Inko Maestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Grolet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Juvenal Torriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Obeko Carreras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Citabara FC's Juvenal Torriba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Saetas avivate's goalkeeper Hug Megid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inko Maestre. Saetas avivate's Hug Megid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Saetas avivate from getting a goal against them. Inko Maestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hug Megid having to interfere. If Inko Maestre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Arnaez got free with Hug Megid in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Saetas avivate's zone, Aureliano Arnaez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hug Megid came out of the goal and Aureliano Arnaez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Grolet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ximenes Aguinagalde fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saetas avivate's protests and gave Ximenes Aguinagalde a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Inko Maestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hug Megid was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inko Maestre in the 68th minute of play forced Saetas avivate's goalkeeper Hug Megid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Saetas avivate's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Arnaez came free, but Hug Megid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saetas avivate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Saetas avivate's Hug Megid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Arnaez in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Inko Maestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hug Megid was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 90 minutes into the match, Saetas avivate's goal looked a bit too open when Cambranes Bolado came free, but Hug Megid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Inko Maestre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inko Maestre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hug Megid having to make a save. Citabara FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
