Markel Romeo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Villaso 's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Rubires came free, but Markel Romeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matia Rubires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Napier Montanez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matia Rubires in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markel Romeo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the game, Chala FC's Matia Rubires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markel Romeo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Markel Romeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napier Montanez in the 31st minute of the match. Chala FC's Matia Rubires got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Villaso 's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Rubires came free, but Markel Romeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matia Rubires in the 36th minute of play forced Villaso 's goalkeeper Markel Romeo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villaso 's Markel Romeo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napier Montanez in the 38th minute of play. Chala FC's Basilio Tros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Chala FC from getting a goal against them. Markel Romeo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napier Montanez's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Chala FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Markel Romeo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napier Montanez in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senin Escude in the 55th minute of play forced Chala FC's goalkeeper Basilio Tros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Tros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pagomari Beyzania in the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Pagomari Beyzania's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilio Tros was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Bonadona Mujica kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Basilio Tros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senin Escude in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chala FC's Bonadona Mujica got a free kick in the 85th minute. Basilio Tros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senin Escude in the 87th minute of play. When Humberto Saucedo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villaso 's protests and gave Humberto Saucedo a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Saucedo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chala FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
