Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beila Cigüenza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lobo Oberto struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Edson Landaluce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bureche FC. The supporters of Bureche FC booed when los leones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaime Bolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, los leones's Edson Landaluce got control of the ball when Lobo Oberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Aires Merodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bureche FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aires Merodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson Landaluce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Lobo Oberto made a precise shot to the right of Edson Landaluce. los leones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sasoin Monterinos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fortunato Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mede Lopidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Mede Lopidana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The los leones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Fortunato Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mede Lopidana in the 31st minute of play. When Blai Rotalo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bureche FC's protests and gave Blai Rotalo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Bureche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blai Rotalo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mede Lopidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. los leones's supporters rose to their feet, but Mede Lopidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Beila Cigüenza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fortunato Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mede Lopidana in the 44th minute of play. Lobo Oberto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Edson Landaluce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Bureche FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. los leones were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregory Amoros to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes los leones got a freekick which was hit by Inocente Aldaeta. Fortunato Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beila Cigüenza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Landaluce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Amoros in the 68th minute of play. Beila Cigüenza had several of the Bureche FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Fortunato Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Beila Cigüenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beila Cigüenza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fortunato Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beila Cigüenza's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demetrio Viladrosa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to los leones getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Demetrio Viladrosa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in los leones's zone, Gregory Amoros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Landaluce came out of the goal and Gregory Amoros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bureche FC's Fortunato Zorita got control of the ball when Xaime Bolas tried to sneak it across the goal line. los leones's Edson Landaluce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Paza in the 95th minute of play. los leones's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
