Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ted Reborio started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind NEW ROAD F.C's goalkeeper Nardo Ronquillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Perutxo Feruel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ronaldo Covielles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perutxo Feruel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Covielles having to interfere. In the 16th minute Perutxo Feruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Covielles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Perutxo Feruel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nilo Futbol Club's Ronaldo Covielles. Ronaldo Covielles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Perutxo Feruel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEW ROAD F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perutxo Feruel in the 26th minute of play forced Nilo Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ronaldo Covielles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Viego kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Perutxo Feruel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Covielles having to interfere. With a little luck, NEW ROAD F.C's Nardo Ronquillo got control of the ball when Gogo Viego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ted Reborio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Nilo Futbol Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 37th minute Ted Reborio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nardo Ronquillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NEW ROAD F.C's Nardo Ronquillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Reborio in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match, Gogo Viego got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nardo Ronquillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 47th minute Perutxo Feruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Covielles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half NEW ROAD F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inko Iravedra to strike the kick off in the second half. Ted Reborio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nardo Ronquillo having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Nilo Futbol Club's goalkeeper Ronaldo Covielles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inko Iravedra. Ronaldo Covielles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inko Iravedra in the 58th minute of play. Gogo Viego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Perutxo Feruel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perutxo Feruel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ronaldo Covielles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, NEW ROAD F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveiro Pavolleta to maneuver through the defense. Gogo Viego struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nardo Ronquillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilo Futbol Club. If Inko Iravedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perutxo Feruel struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ronaldo Covielles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEW ROAD F.C. In the 72nd minute, Inko Iravedra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ronaldo Covielles. The goal made the score 0-3. Nilo Futbol Club's Ronaldo Covielles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inko Iravedra in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Nilo Futbol Club booed when NEW ROAD F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenaro Olier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gogo Viego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perutxo Feruel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nilo Futbol Club's Rosio Varsana got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute of the match, Perutxo Feruel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ronaldo Covielles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. NEW ROAD F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
