Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Xavier Ruperto kicked off to start the match. When Cugat Aldaz fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alt.Junior's protests and gave Cugat Aldaz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alt.Junior's Cugat Aldaz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Bernaldo Zabaleta charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernaldo Zabaleta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urbez Caldevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Ruperto in the 8th minute of play. colombia's Hernando Villarin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cresconio Miramontes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Jerico Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, colombia's Epifanio Lavijo got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gaizka Gabriel struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gilberto Antia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alt.Junior. In the 21st minute, Xavier Ruperto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Ruperto in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbez Caldevilla saved Alt.Junior from getting behind. In the 30thth minute of the game Xavier Ruperto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alt.Junior's Urbez Caldevilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Zabaleta in the 35th minute of play forced colombia's goalkeeper Gilberto Antia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes colombia got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Lavijo. In the 37th minute, Bernard Beite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urbez Caldevilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Ruperto in the 40th minute of play. Bernard Beite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Antia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Urbez Caldevilla came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by colombia's Epifanio Lavijo. But to his dismay, Epifanio Lavijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaizka Gabriel to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Antia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernard Beite went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Xavier Ruperto struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Urbez Caldevilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for colombia. In the 65th match minute, Alt.Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorencio Laje to maneuver through the defense. Urbez Caldevilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Ruperto's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Lorencio Laje fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alt.Junior's protests and gave Lorencio Laje a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alt.Junior getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lorencio Laje hit a great ball. Urbez Caldevilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gustau Vallejoller. Gilberto Antia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizka Gabriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of colombia booed when Alt.Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorencio Laje didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Ortzi Rosich sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alt.Junior's Urbez Caldevilla didn't even have to move. colombia's Gustau Vallejoller shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Urbez Caldevilla but with some difficulty. Cugat Aldaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Antia. colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Xavier Ruperto in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbez Caldevilla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, colombia's Jerico Charro got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Bernard Beite's late challenge caught a colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Beite helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alt.Junior getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Bernard Beite hit a great ball.
