Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Cordarryl Borrajo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gregory Peinador. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Bello FC's Gaztea Piñeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Aristides Cerillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orzaize Sigler was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Papares's Orzaize Sigler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Cerillo in the 26th minute of play. Aristides Cerillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Orzaize Sigler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Gauna's late challenge caught a Papares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Gauna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Bello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Gauna to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Gaztea Piñeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orzaize Sigler having to interfere. The supporters of Bello FC booed when Papares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position.
