Xavier Payno's late challenge caught a Millos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 35 minutes of play, Millos's Constantino Laurencio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Bocos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francho Velarroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruisko Redondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Desiderio Olalde hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes sporting colombia got a freekick which was hit by Elorri Iribarren. After 45 played minutes, Millos's Roger Maza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Bocos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Millos reached it. If Constantino Laurencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Inaki Represa made the kick off in the second half. Terciero Briseño kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Inaki Represa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Laurencios short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Isidro Bocos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Millos's Inaki Represa in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
