Everardo Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garci Zamorano having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Celio Juarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lucio Güerga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the match, Celio Juarez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BARCELONA FC's Lucio Güerga. Lucio Güerga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Uyatpanas FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. In the 45th minute Celio Juarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Güerga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Celio Juarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Celio Juarez made the kick off in the second half. Lucio Güerga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celio Juarez in the 53rd minute of play. Celio Juarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Güerga having to interfere. Uyatpanas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
