In the 21st minute, MILLONARIOSFC's Lino Mosquera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lino Mosquera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MILLONARIOSFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lino Mosquera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 20 minutes into the game, one of MILLONARIOSFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ortle Fontecavada had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Leobardo Cubero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by MILLONARIOSFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leobardo Cubero was slow to take the kick. During this time Balones pinchados's players had a chance to rest. If Izel Quintarnaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ortle Fontecavada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azubeli Mojon in the 29th minute of play. Silverio Fuerte hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gumaro Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bide Astete in the 34th minute of the match. Ortle Fontecavada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Munet, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Filipe Monedero made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bide Astete. Bide Astete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumaro Casanova having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOSFC's goal looked a bit too open when Azubeli Mojon came free, but Ortle Fontecavada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Azubeli Mojon to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azubeli Mojon in the 51st minute of play forced MILLONARIOSFC's goalkeeper Ortle Fontecavada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ortle Fontecavada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aznaro Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azubeli Mojon got free with Ortle Fontecavada in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Ortle Fontecavada managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Balones pinchados's Azubeli Mojon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moise Verdeces made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aznaro Pereira however managed to control. In the 79th minute of the match Balones pinchados got a corner. MILLONARIOSFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leobardo Cubero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leobardo Cubero made a great header on Balones pinchados's corner, it was just that MILLONARIOSFC's Ortle Fontecavada managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bide Astete in the 81st minute of play forced Balones pinchados's goalkeeper Gumaro Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Fuerte hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Balones pinchados booed when MILLONARIOSFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Alcaraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although MILLONARIOSFC had been in control for most of the match, Balones pinchados still came away with the win.
