If Hodei Ramila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Casanande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorosti Botbol in the 7th minute of the match. Cardenal Rojo's Hodei Ramila got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bladi Corisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seber Yurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Pelayo in the 14th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cardenal Rojo defense, Eguen Avedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seber Yurre. The Cardenal Rojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seber Yurre should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Eguen Avedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seber Yurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seber Yurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Pelayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Miguel Rico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Casanande skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th minute Eguen Avedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seber Yurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cardenal Rojo's Hodei Ramila in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Camajoru's goalie prevented a goal. Seber Yurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eguen Avedillo in the 35th minute of play. Hodei Ramila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Casanande having to interfere. In the 40th minute Artemio Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seber Yurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Cardenal Rojo's Seber Yurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Pelayo in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Cardenal Rojo's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Pelayo came free, but Seber Yurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Cardenal Rojo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camajoru:s goal. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Camajoru's Jose Franques got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Seber Yurre. In the 62nd minute, Camajoru's Artemio Pelayo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seber Yurre. Seber Yurre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 66 minutes into the game, Evangelista Merida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camajoru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardenal Rojo the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Cardenal Rojo's Hondo Massana tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Lamboy was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. The referee gave Cardenal Rojo a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hondo Massana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Camajoru's Michael Casanande. 1-4. Hodei Ramila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Michael Casanande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eguen Avedillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Manuelo Iturralde in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cardenal Rojo's Ganix Reigada. After having played for 87 minutes, Eguen Avedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camajoru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eguen Avedillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hodei Ramila might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Casanande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hodei Ramila ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Ganix Reigada made a precise shot to the right of Michael Casanande. Camajoru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Camajoru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
