Jan-Pieter De Poorter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Pieter De Poorter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marcelito Martines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Henry Valcarcel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G de graafschap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Valcarcel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Pieter De Poorter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Martines having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Eric Cotoi made a precise shot to the right of Marcelito Martines. G de graafschap's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Johannes Nyhus might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emesto Erauso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Nyhus ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Pieter De Poorter scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelito Martines, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Ixona Tigero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G de graafschap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caligaris the free kick. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for G de graafschap! Jan-Pieter De Poorter shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Pieter De Poorter in the 34th minute of play forced G de graafschap's goalkeeper Marcelito Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, G de graafschap's Oscar Matos got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eric Cotoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcelito Martines firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner ended in La Cara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but G de graafschap's Marcelito Martines did a great save. 45 minutes into the game, Johannes Nyhus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. G de graafschap's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caligaris the free kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Pieter De Poorter to make the kick off. Marcelito Martines came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Caligaris's Eric Cotoi. But to his dismay, Eric Cotoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After having played for 54 minutes, Jan-Pieter De Poorter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caligaris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Pieter De Poorter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Jörgen Uggla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caligaris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 64 minutes into the match, Caligaris's Jörgen Uggla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelito Martines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timeteo Feyto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jan-Pieter De Poorter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelito Martines was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 72 minutes of play, Caligaris's Eric Cotoi made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelito Martines was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Emesto Erauso managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when G de graafschap's Henry Valcarcel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan-Pieter De Poorter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelito Martines having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Pieter De Poorter in the 85th minute of play forced G de graafschap's goalkeeper Marcelito Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelito Martines came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Caligaris's Jan-Pieter De Poorter. But to his dismay, Jan-Pieter De Poorter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Marcelito Martines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Pieter De Poorter in the 88th minute of play. Oscar Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match La Cara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelito Martines showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Timeteo Feyto hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Marcelito Martines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Pieter De Poorter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
