After some careless play in the Akatowari SAS defense, Harris Geraets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Ganchegui. The Akatowari SAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Ganchegui should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Llin Millan in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Cartagena's Ixona Gondin. After a defensive mix-up in Akatowari SAS's zone, Harris Geraets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Ganchegui came out of the goal and Harris Geraets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Akatowari SAS defense, Harris Geraets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Ganchegui. The Akatowari SAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Ganchegui should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Real Cartagena's Harris Geraets nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Ganchegui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Harris Geraets sped through Akatowari SAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro Ganchegui. Ramiro Ganchegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harris Geraets in the 35th minute of the match. Ramiro Ganchegui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harris Geraets went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes Real Cartagena got a freekick which was hit by Ixona Gondin. Chus Ayarza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harris Geraets struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ramiro Ganchegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Cartagena. After 48th play minutes Harris Geraets shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Ramiro Ganchegui and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Ramiro Ganchegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harris Geraets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Real Cartagena's Harris Geraets made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Ganchegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Akatowari SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Harris Geraets came free, but Ramiro Ganchegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Harris Geraets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akatowari SAS's Ramiro Ganchegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harris Geraets in the 68th minute of play. Harris Geraets who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Ganchegui when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Harris Geraets might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Ganchegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harris Geraets ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harris Geraets in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Ganchegui saved Akatowari SAS from getting behind. 79 minutes into the game, Harris Geraets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Ramiro Ganchegui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Harris Geraets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Harris Geraets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes, Gregorio Arzube mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akatowari SAS and the Real Cartagena players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Akatowari SAS's Gregorio Arzube got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Real Cartagena booed when Akatowari SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Arzube didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akatowari SAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Chus Ayarza scored to the left of an out of position Ramiro Ganchegui, making the score, 0-10. In the 96th minute, Louis Vinyals got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louis Vinyals could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ramiro Ganchegui made a huge save. When the match was over Real Cartagena could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Akatowari SAS throughout the match.
