Jurgi Reguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Coleira, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. When Teofilo Coleira came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Sugamuxi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Coleira couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Teofilo Coleira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jurgi Reguer. Leicester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Coleira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reuben Billington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurgi Reguer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Tadeo Jokin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Tadeo Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sugamuxi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Jokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xoan Viguri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Justino Ungia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Coleira in the 41st minute of play forced Leicester City's goalkeeper Jurgi Reguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Nataniel Hormaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Goyo Salais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurgi Reguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Coleira made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leicester City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Coleira was slow to take the kick. During this time Sugamuxi's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Sugamuxi getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Goiz Berdu hit a great ball. Leicester City's Castel Urtaza got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jurgi Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goiz Berdu in the 57th minute of the match. Teofilo Coleira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgi Reguer having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Teofil Plech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sugamuxi and the Leicester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Teofil Plech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sugamuxi's Nerio Doro was substituted for Tadeo Jokin. Jurgi Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerio Doro in the 79th minute of the match. Jurgi Reguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goiz Berdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurgi Reguer was a little too slow when Nerio Doro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-6. 93 minutes into the game, Castel Urtaza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Justino Ungia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Castel Urtaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
