Clube Regatas Flamengo's Tomas Carradelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Regatas Flamengo from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Clube Regatas Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Marouane Fellaini. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xoan Ybarbo to make the kick off. Tomas Carradelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Orlondon, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Moises Orlondon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Regatas Flamengo's Tomas Carradelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meendez Marcilla hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Crispo Marsol kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Denizhan Özcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Carradelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Figueiredo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Carradelo saved Clube Regatas Flamengo from getting behind. After 88 minutes Clube Regatas Flamengo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio-Paul Branca who took care of the corner kick. Glauco Figueiredo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
