In the 10th minute, one of INTERNAUTAS FDC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for INTERNAUTAS FDC. After 12 minutes of play, Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Claudio Ruffat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavin Baxter came out of the goal and Brion Retana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The INTERNAUTAS FDC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Gavin Baxter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filinto Carmona in the 97th minute of play.
