The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faustino Asprilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Babicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Cantera De Héroes F.C ® were furious when Llorian Viramontez was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Cantera De Héroes F.C ®:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jotares:s goal. Kaxen Carreras came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Jotares's Nerio Baamonde. But to his dismay, Nerio Baamonde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stefan Babicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ysmael Tagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cantera De Héroes F.C ® booed when Jotares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larra Ameztoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Larreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fortunato Larreta fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s protests and gave Fortunato Larreta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Fortunato Larreta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s goalkeeper Kaxen Carreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Baldes. The supporters of Jotares booed when Cantera De Héroes F.C ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firmo Combarros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Baldes in the 54th minute of play forced Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s goalkeeper Kaxen Carreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Anxo Ciriaca with Diaz Grandoso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Ysmael Tagle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Babicki. That made the score 3-1 in the 70 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jotares's Larra Ameztoy got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jordy Mino made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Diaz Grandoso immediately put the ball in play. In the 84th minute Larra Ameztoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaxen Carreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Jorge Baldes made a precise shot to the right of Kaxen Carreras. Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Many of Cantera De Héroes F.C ®'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cantera De Héroes F.C ® may have spent more time on the ball, but Jotares were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
