Mero Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Fonso in the 8th minute of the match. Mambru Tarapiella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Exequiel Zeballos in the 15th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Rene Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Bruno Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Exequiel Zeballos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Higuita having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Ronaldo got free with Rene Higuita in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mero Portero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adama Traore in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Adama Traore made a precise shot to the right of Mero Portero. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Orlondon Berzosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute of the match, Christiano Ronaldo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rene Higuita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Exequiel Zeballos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Bruno Fonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Ibiza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Exequiel Zeballos to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Lu Xun Lei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Ibiza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol the free kick. Club Ibiza's Xie Bin Wei was substituted for Mambru Tarapiella. Club Ibiza's Guo Jian was substituted for Jose-Antonio Capon. 61 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Mero Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Maraman Muriedas was substituted for Luís Fernando Díaz. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol:s Mero Portero showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Fonso:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Bruno Fonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mero Portero was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 76th minute Exequiel Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Mero Portero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Fonso came free, but Mero Portero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Fonso in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mero Portero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 92 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Mero Portero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Fonso. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
