A wasted opportunity for Calinatai FC. Real Sabanetae FC's Ascencio Suarez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Baiardo Maceira but with some difficulty. Nelson Makelevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Lombraña, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Soin Negral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiardo Maceira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gora Babiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

1-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Soin Negral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Real Sabanetae FC's zone, Fernan Aramberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Makelevičius came out of the goal and Fernan Aramberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Gora Babiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baiardo Maceira. Calinatai FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gora Babiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Calinatai FC's Baiardo Maceira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soin Negral in the 74th minute of play. When Real Sabanetae FC's Soin Negral in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Real Sabanetae FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
