Victorio Zubiaga charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Zubiaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Jabon FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Zubiaga. In the 5th play minute Eduino Flayre came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ostots Folgoso. 1-0. If Eduino Flayre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jabon FC defense, Eduino Flayre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ostots Folgoso. The Jabon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ostots Folgoso should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes Academia Telstar got a freekick which was hit by Hernando Seijon. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Telstar's zone, Florencio Sevillano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zumar Parra came out of the goal and Florencio Sevillano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Florencio Sevillano came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Jabon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Sevillano couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Eduino Flayre notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Jabon FC's Ostots Folgoso. Ostots Folgoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Sevillano in the 35th minute of play forced Academia Telstar's goalkeeper Zumar Parra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casado Condado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zumar Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Lucila Bultron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Academia Telstar booed when Jabon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Anderica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Atilano Pablo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ostots Folgoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ostots Folgoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Pablo in the 57th minute of play. Zumar Parra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Anderica in the 59th minute of play. Eduino Flayre took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ostots Folgoso. Ostots Folgoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ostots Folgoso came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Telstar's Atilano Pablo. But to his dismay, Atilano Pablo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 72 played minutes Academia Telstar got a freekick which was hit by Hernando Seijon. 73 minutes into the match, Jabon FC's Policarpio Sorrarain broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Jerano Jordana fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jabon FC's protests and gave Jerano Jordana a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jabon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Academia Telstar. Lucila Bultron stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ostots Folgoso. 7-0. When Eduino Flayre came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Academia Telstar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduino Flayre couldn't finish the play. Sanchez Gamez hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Florencio Sevillano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute of the match, Florencio Sevillano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zumar Parra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Academia Telstar booed when Jabon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sanchez Gamez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Eduino Flayre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Telstar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduino Flayre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Academia Telstar booed when Jabon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Zubiaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Academia Telstar were the better team. Academia Telstar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
