Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MANCHESTER UNITED FC's Gilberto Mata started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Norabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergi Corada. After a defensive mix-up in Norabana FC's zone, Gilberto Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hechter Alija came out of the goal and Gilberto Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Martxelin Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergi Corada came free, but Javiar Erus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Norabana FC booed when MANCHESTER UNITED FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Mel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Gasca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MANCHESTER UNITED FC! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Norabana FC. Larra Robredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Javiar Erus. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Costeras in the 22nd minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED FC's goalkeeper Javiar Erus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play, Norabana FC's Arixo Tordomar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javiar Erus was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Martxelin Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANCHESTER UNITED FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martxelin Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hechter Alija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Martxelin Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norabana FC's Joel Costeras got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hechter Alija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martxelin Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Mel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Mel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Paulo Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MANCHESTER UNITED FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Mel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martxelin Escobar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. MANCHESTER UNITED FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arixo Tordomar to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Mata hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Niceto Beytia fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norabana FC's protests and gave Niceto Beytia a yellow card for diving instead. Martxelin Escobar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hechter Alija didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANCHESTER UNITED FC. Gilberto Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hechter Alija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Norabana FC's Arixo Tordomar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Javiar Erus. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute Joel Costeras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javiar Erus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javiar Erus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arixo Tordomar in the 84th minute of play. Javiar Erus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arixo Tordomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arixo Tordomar in the 91st minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED FC's goalkeeper Javiar Erus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javiar Erus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arixo Tordomar in the 96th minute of the match. Although MANCHESTER UNITED FC had been in control for most of the match, Norabana FC still came away with the win.
