The audience was convinced that Hustaz Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Llibre was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Marcial Llibre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osoro Maleta, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Serafin Fole lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 30 minutes into the game, one of CA Guarenas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kevin Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nerio Barreiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Marcial Llibre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hustaz Sancho in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Chivacoa Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osoro Maleta to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Kevin Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nerio Barreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hustaz Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Llibre came out and tried to block the shot, but Hustaz Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Abascal made a kick off. Maraman Payva struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nerio Barreiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Maraman Payva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, CA Guarenas's Baldomiro Arrizabalaga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to CA Guarenas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Vitin Cabezudo hit a great ball. Chivacoa Athletic's Nerio Barreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Abascal in the 75th minute of play. Vitin Cabezudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Hustaz Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maraman Payva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chivacoa Athletic's Maraman Payva got a free kick in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Millrick Ascazua notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CA Guarenas's Marcial Llibre. Marcial Llibre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Yoelvis Besteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chivacoa Athletic could leave the field as winners, despite CA Guarenas having more of the ball for most of the match.
