Spectators: 8610 (Terracing: 6458, Seating: 1980, VIP seats: 172) UD Liga Nacional's Americo Burgueño started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Marin Ciprian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, UD Liga Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Ascargorta came free, but Xamo Pozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordara Herbon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Xamo Pozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Bernardino Ascargorta notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardino Ascargorta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xamo Pozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Ciprian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Cordara Herbon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cordara Herbon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Marin Ciprian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Xamo Pozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xamo Pozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ciprian, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes of play, Alianza FC's Cordara Herbon made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xamo Pozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, UD Liga Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Ciprian came free, but Xamo Pozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xamo Pozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Ascargorta in the 39th minute of play. Bernardino Ascargorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xamo Pozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordara Herbon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Alianza FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Long Jian Le hit a great ball. After the first half Alianza FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marin Ciprian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xamo Pozo having to make a save. Xamo Pozo was a little too slow when Marin Ciprian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordara Herbon got free with Xamo Pozo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, UD Liga Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Ciprian came free, but Xamo Pozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Marin Ciprian fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Xamo Pozo, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Alianza FC's Xamo Pozo threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marin Ciprian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xamo Pozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordara Herbon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cordara Herbon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Pozo having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Cordara Herbon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordara Herbon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Xamo Pozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xamo Pozo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when César Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Bernardino Ascargorta took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 90th play minute César Domingues came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xamo Pozo. 0-10. César Domingues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Xamo Pozo made a huge save. The UD Liga Nacional fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alianza FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
