Spectators: 7387 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 152) North Bellmore FC's Donald Dupre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alexis Brock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knights SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexis Brock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shelby Black breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Marcus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul McPherson. Knights SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Brock in the 12th minute of play forced North Bellmore FC's goalkeeper Shelby Black to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shelby Black showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Brock, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Sol Cangiano kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, North Bellmore FC's Donald Dupre got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Bellmore FC's goalkeeper Shelby Black, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute Donald Dupre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul McPherson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of North Bellmore FC booed when Knights SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Whitmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Donald Dupre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knights SC's Raul McPherson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Knights SC's Benny Coles got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexis Brock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul McPherson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trenton Purvis in the 53rd minute. Raul McPherson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Dupre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes, Orville Lutz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Bellmore FC and the Knights SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donald Dupre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul McPherson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Alexis Brock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Donald Dupre took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Raul McPherson to make any attempt to save it. Raul McPherson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Dupre, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, North Bellmore FC's Orville Lutz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Russell Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Raul McPherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
