Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Anthony Blanco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when DeMarcus Culver got free with Son Peters in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goalkeeper Son Peters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by DeMarcus Culver. Tim Maynard charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Maynard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tim Maynard hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emilio Nixon hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Alex Woodall fired a really elegant long shot, but Son Peters threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Son Peters made an important save on a dangerous shot by DeMarcus Culver in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Forrest Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jackson Sorenson in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Son Peters saved Manchester City from getting behind. Jackson Sorenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Son Peters having to interfere. Almont AFC's Jackson Sorenson got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Titus Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Blanco in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Anthony Blanco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Titus Lawrence was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jackson Sorenson made a kick off. Wally Hollandsworth hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes, Manchester City's Devin Francis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Titus Lawrence came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester City reached it. Titus Lawrence acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Devin Francis. Jeff Fisher kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Son Peters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeMarcus Culver in the 63rd minute of the match. After 68 played minutes, Almont AFC's Ned Wilkes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Son Peters came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Almont AFC reached it. In the 69th match minute, Manchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devin Francis to maneuver through the defense. Almont AFC's Alex Woodall couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Manchester City. Forrest Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Emilio Nixon hit a great ball. If Forrest Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Son Peters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jackson Sorenson's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The supporters of Almont AFC booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Nixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 87th minute when DeMarcus Culver elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Devin Francis. DeMarcus Culver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forrest Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manchester City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Almont AFC.
