Monte Healy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. German Payton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sid Coffman's late challenge caught a Romanguaça FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sid Coffman helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes High Ridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sid Coffman. Monte Healy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, High Ridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Guidry to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monte Healy in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Payton saved High Ridge AFC from getting behind. After 43 minutes of play, Romanguaça FC's Marlon Stephenson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Payton was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Marlon Stephenson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Payton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berry Keith was the one to do the kick off. Marty Guidry's late challenge caught a Romanguaça FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marty Guidry helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Marlon Stephenson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. German Payton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 57th minute, Monte Healy made a precise shot to the right of German Payton. High Ridge AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After having played for 61 minutes, Monte Healy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanguaça FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monte Healy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, High Ridge AFC's goalkeeper German Payton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marlon Stephenson. Marlon Stephenson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but German Payton made a huge save. With a little luck, High Ridge AFC's German Payton got control of the ball when Marlon Stephenson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Monte Healy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but High Ridge AFC's German Payton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Monte Healy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlon Stephenson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Payton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Monte Healy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of German Payton. Monte Healy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Marlon Stephenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in High Ridge AFC's zone, Marlon Stephenson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Payton came out of the goal and Marlon Stephenson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
