Harry Walden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carson Nicholson in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominique Nicholas in the 28th minute of play forced C. A. Ituzaingó's goalkeeper Harry Walden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dallas Elmore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darron Mahoney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Lucien Kerns might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darron Mahoney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucien Kerns ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the game, Carson Nicholson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Harry Walden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The C. A. Ituzaingó players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Captain America were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Dallas Elmore made the kick off in the second half. Dominique Nicholas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Walden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominique Nicholas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Carson Nicholson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Harry Walden was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Carson Nicholson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, C. A. Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Carson Nicholson came free, but Harry Walden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Walden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carson Nicholson in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Dominique Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Captain America's Carson Nicholson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 73rd match minute, C. A. Ituzaingó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walker Macias to maneuver through the defense. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 75th minute, but Harry Walden got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving C. A. Ituzaingó hanging dry this time. Darron Mahoney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucien Kerns in the 79th minute of play. C. A. Ituzaingó's Harry Walden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Ituzaingó from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Carson Nicholson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Captain America's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carson Nicholson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Captain America played a much better game than C. A. Ituzaingó and deserved their victory. The C. A. Ituzaingó players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
