If Johnathon Brantley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, South Kensington AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Hawthorne to maneuver through the defense. If Brendon Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, South Kensington AFC's Rafael Malloy got a free kick in the 17th minute. Romeo Shook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Preston Eldridge came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Manhasset Hills FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Preston Eldridge couldn't finish the play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Preston Eldridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Kensington AFC's Romeo Shook was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Malloy hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Mervin Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johnathon Brantley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Harden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Arturo Arias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brendon Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnathon Brantley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Arias having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Brendon Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Kensington AFC's Romeo Shook was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Oswaldo Hawthorne fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Kensington AFC's protests and gave Oswaldo Hawthorne a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johnathon Brantley to make the kick off. Arturo Arias came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by South Kensington AFC's Leonard Harden. But to his dismay, Leonard Harden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, South Kensington AFC's C.J. Grossman got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mervin Quintero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Manhasset Hills FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mervin Quintero hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Reyes Bullard in the 67th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Arturo Arias's left hand side. In the 72nd minute Leonard Harden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Preston Eldridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Shook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preston Eldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Preston Eldridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Shook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Preston Eldridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Brendon Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. South Kensington AFC's Romeo Shook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Eldridge in the 93rd minute of play. Preston Eldridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Shook having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manhasset Hills FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for South Kensington AFC.
