After 5 minutes, Del Corley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anchorage Athletic and the Healdsburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anchorage Athletic's Del Corley got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Healdsburg's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Engel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rolland Wesley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Orozco's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Daniel Engel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anchorage Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rolland Wesley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnny Mesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Romano in the 20th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Jacob Orozco sped through Healdsburg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolland Wesley. In the 28th minute, Jean-Charles Rinaudo made a precise shot to the right of Rolland Wesley. Healdsburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Orozco in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolland Wesley saved Healdsburg from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Daniel Engel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anchorage Athletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Engel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacob Orozco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolland Wesley. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. Jean-Charles Rinaudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacob Orozco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Rolland Wesley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Rolland Wesley managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Anchorage Athletic's Jacob Orozco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacob Orozcos short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Rolland Wesley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Jesse Benavides thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rolland Wesley, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 5-0. After some careless play in the Healdsburg defense, Jacob Orozco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolland Wesley. The Healdsburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolland Wesley should have stopped the shot. Jacob Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rolland Wesley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Healdsburg's Thad Riggs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Jacob Orozco put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rolland Wesley. After 88 minutes of play, Anchorage Athletic's Jacob Orozco made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolland Wesley was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Haines in the 92nd minute of play forced Anchorage Athletic's goalkeeper Johnny Mesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Anchorage Athletic fully deserved thier win.
