Kenneth Eckert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Drew in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dirk Link managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demons F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Link was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Rich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pablo Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilmer Childs to make the kick off. Demons F.C's Pablo Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Demons F.C's Marlon Lemons sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dirk Rich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Sound Beach booed when Demons F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Olson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terry Dolan, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marshall Boyles got free with Kenneth Eckert in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marshall Boyles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Kenneth Eckert made a huge save. Marshall Boyles took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Eckert. Kenneth Eckert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Although Demons F.C had been in control for most of the match, Sound Beach still came away with the win.
