After some careless play in the Boca Raton F.C. defense, Sydney Cowan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolland Sherman. The Boca Raton F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolland Sherman should have stopped the shot. Ivan Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wyatt Arroyo in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Ian Tompkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loren Leslie, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ivan Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chris Humphries fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Downriver AFC's protests and gave Chris Humphries a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Downriver AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chris Humphries. In the 35th minute, Wyatt Arroyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolland Sherman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Tompkins in the 38th minute. A collision led to Boca Raton F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alejandro Jensen hit a great ball. Mickey Kern charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickey Kern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mickey Kern kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wyatt Arroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Raton F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wyatt Arroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wyatt Arroyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ivan Higgins made a huge save. During this time Downriver AFC's players had a chance to rest. 82 minutes into the match Wyatt Arroyo climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-5 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Ivan Higgins. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wyatt Arroyo got free with Ivan Higgins in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Downriver AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ian Tompkins hit a great ball. Rolland Sherman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Cowan in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Downriver AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Bustamante to maneuver through the defense. Markus Lawler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Higgins came out and tried to block the shot, but Markus Lawler slotted it home off the left post making it 4-6 in the 92nd minute. The Boca Raton F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
