The crowd rose to their feet as Florian Boudreaux kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milton Davenport. That made the score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Jed Bright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cory Henry hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Florian Boudreaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Milton Davenport made a huge save. A collision led to North Marysville getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jed Bright hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Boudreaux got free with Milton Davenport in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 44 minutes, Brock Busby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Marysville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brock Busby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brock Busby was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, North Marysville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jed Bright to maneuver through the defense. Sal Carbajal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Weston Fair in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Florian Boudreaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milton Davenport saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Boudreaux struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Milton Davenport didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New York Black Eagles FC. The crowd rose to their feet as North Marysville's Brock Busby slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sal Carbajal. That made the score 3-1 after 72 minutes of play. New York Black Eagles FC's Sal Carbajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save New York Black Eagles FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of North Marysville booed when New York Black Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Everett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sal Carbajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weston Fair, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jed Bright in the 86th minute of play forced New York Black Eagles FC's goalkeeper Sal Carbajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes North Marysville got a freekick which was hit by Jarrett Marcus. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Boudreaux in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milton Davenport saved North Marysville from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Jed Bright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sal Carbajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the North Marysville players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New York Black Eagles FC.
