Savaş Tüzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zackary Allred who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Savaş Tüzel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ari Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port Washington North AFC's protests and gave Ari Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. Ari Ferreira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Savaş Tüzel was a little too slow when Troy Croft got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Troy Croft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Savaş Tüzel made a huge save. The throw-in from Belmiro Jacinto in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Port Washington North AFC's Wesley Rogers. After 33 played minutes Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Doherty. After having played for 34 minutes, Lenny Ruffin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Washington North AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenny Ruffin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Port Washington North AFC booed when Green Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Carlton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanh Reagan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Wesley Daniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zackary Allred got free with Savaş Tüzel in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zackary Allred was the one to do the kick off. Rufus Bryant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şener Refet in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Port Washington North AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zackary Allred came free, but Savaş Tüzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.J. Varner charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed C.J. Varner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Port Washington North AFC got a freekick which was hit by C.J. Varner. After a rather tough play, Green Machine's Troy Croft got a free kick in the 61st minute. 68 minutes into the match, Troy Croft notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Port Washington North AFC's Savaş Tüzel. Savaş Tüzel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Port Washington North AFC's Savaş Tüzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Allred in the 73rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Carlton during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Carlton to maneuver through the defense. Savaş Tüzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackary Allred in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zackary Allred in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savaş Tüzel saved Port Washington North AFC from getting behind. Savaş Tüzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackary Allred, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Zackary Allred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savaş Tüzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Port Washington North AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
