The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Johnny Regan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thaddeus Simon in the 6th minute of play. Allan McClellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umur Torhan in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Rory Wagner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan McClellan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan McClellan made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Alejandro Guib sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Guib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Allan McClellan made a huge save. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Alejandro Guib recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan McClellan. Alejandro Guib showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Huestes de Excalibur's Max Frisch was substituted for Troy Anderson. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Frank stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, West Oahu Wave Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Guib came free, but Allan McClellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. West Oahu Wave Riders's Allan McClellan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Guib in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the West Oahu Wave Riders defense, Tonček Kraljič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan McClellan. The West Oahu Wave Riders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan McClellan should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute, Tonček Kraljič left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huestes de Excalibur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Umur Torhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Allan McClellan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, West Oahu Wave Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Tonček Kraljič came free, but Allan McClellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan McClellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Guib, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Rory Wagner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but West Oahu Wave Riders's Allan McClellan did a great save. The supporters of Huestes de Excalibur booed when West Oahu Wave Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelly Rasmussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes West Oahu Wave Riders got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Wills. 74 minutes into the match, Huestes de Excalibur's Tonček Kraljič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan McClellan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Rory Wagner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huestes de Excalibur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Wagner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huestes de Excalibur! The referee gave West Oahu Wave Riders a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabian Frank, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Huestes de Excalibur's Johnny Regan. 3-1. West Oahu Wave Riders's Allan McClellan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonček Kraljič in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Huestes de Excalibur's Rory Wagner made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan McClellan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Max Frisch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thaddeus Simon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Johnny Regan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Kelly Rasmussen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Oahu Wave Riders and the Huestes de Excalibur players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Huestes de Excalibur booed when West Oahu Wave Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelly Rasmussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in West Oahu Wave Riders's zone, Alejandro Guib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan McClellan came out of the goal and Alejandro Guib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 100 minutes into the game, one of Huestes de Excalibur:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. There was no doubt that Huestes de Excalibur were the better team. Huestes de Excalibur's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
