Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Derek Cleveland kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Erma booed when México FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon Shipp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Erma's zone, Carl Grep stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Beal came out of the goal and Carl Grep tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to México FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Adalberto Cowan hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, México FC's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Cleveland came free, but Damião Viveiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damião Viveiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Cleveland in the 21st minute of the match. Derek Cleveland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Damião Viveiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damião Viveiros was a little too slow when Derek Cleveland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Grep in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chris Beal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Erma getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Timothy Woodson hit a great ball. George Albrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Winston Hutchison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Carl Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Grep stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Winston Hutchison hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Erma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Hammer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Grep in the 64th minute of play forced Erma's goalkeeper Chris Beal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Josiah Phelps managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josiah Phelps was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Carl Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris Beal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Albrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derek Cleveland took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damião Viveiros. Damião Viveiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Chris Beal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Albrecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Cleveland in the 81st minute of play forced México FC's goalkeeper Damião Viveiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to México FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Carl Grep hit a great ball. Winston Hutchison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damião Viveiros having to interfere. After some careless play in the México FC defense, Derek Cleveland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damião Viveiros. The México FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damião Viveiros should have stopped the shot. The supporters of México FC booed when Erma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josiah Phelps didn't get a good kick on the ball. México FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
