But to his dismay, Samuel Tome quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goalkeeper Gregorio Green had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nerio Lopez de Toro. Samuel Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bob Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Hyatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scotty Browning, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After the first half ARMENIAN 11 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nerio Lopez de Toro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Scotty Browning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Van Clynenbreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gregorio Green took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Van Clynenbreugel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanton Mueller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Tome in the 64th minute of play forced ACC Mavericks's goalkeeper Bob Hyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Nerio Lopez de Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Green saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Drew in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neal Drew in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bob Hyatt saved ACC Mavericks from getting behind. The supporters of ARMENIAN 11 booed when ACC Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuan Eubanks didn't get a good kick on the ball. ACC Mavericks's Bob Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Drew in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nerio Lopez de Toro in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Green prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
