He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Santos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 10th minute Cao Shi Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, The Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tyron Velasquez came free, but Aníbal Lorenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Lorenzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tyron Velasquez went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Otis Short ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otis Short in the 37th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The The Team FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when The Team FC's Cao Shi Yi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
