Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Steve Elcock started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Mohammed Magloire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Canute Abdul-Hamid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Harris went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boscoe Medina in the 12th minute of play forced Longdenville's goalkeeper Mikela Jeffers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Elcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Leonard Harris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Longdenville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Harris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammed Magloire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Magloire in the 32nd minute of play forced Longdenville's goalkeeper Mikela Jeffers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mohammed Magloire came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Eckel Village fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammed Magloire couldn't finish the play. When Longdenville's Steve Elcock in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohammed Magloire to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Longdenville's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Magloire came free, but Mikela Jeffers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boscoe Medinas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Mikela Jeffers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 60 played minutes Eckel Village got a freekick which was hit by Pete Jones. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Harris in the 66th minute of play forced Eckel Village's goalkeeper Canute Abdul-Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Elcock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Canute Abdul-Hamid having to make a save. After 69 played minutes Eckel Village got a freekick which was hit by Chrrstine Rahman. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eckel Village's goalkeeper Canute Abdul-Hamid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Neeshan Body managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longdenville's supporters rose to their feet, but Neeshan Body was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Canute Abdul-Hamid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Canute Abdul-Hamid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Elcock in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Elcock in the 81st minute of play forced Eckel Village's goalkeeper Canute Abdul-Hamid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Longdenville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neeshan Body to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Longdenville's goalkeeper Mikela Jeffers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mohammed Magloire. After a rather tough play, Eckel Village's Edgar Mortimer St Clair got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Neeshan Body hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eckel Village's Bob Sinanan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mikela Jeffers but with some difficulty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Longdenville fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eckel Village had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
