When Mohamed Boutabout came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Perth Amboy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Boutabout couldn't finish the play. Fateh Ahmed had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Mansour Harkouk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mansour Harkouk took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fateh Ahmed. Fateh Ahmed dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Amar Madjer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fateh Ahmed having to make a save. Perth Amboy AFC's Ahmed Amara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Perth Amboy AFC from getting a goal against them.
