Rafik Zoheir Bourebbou charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafik Zoheir Bourebbou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hemza Ramdane to make the kick off. Bellemou Bridji recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nouara Zaaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Corvallis's Rachid Baba Ali Hadjar got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 66 played minutes Pitcairn got a freekick which was hit by Noureddine Gallaire. Mohamed Ben Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kader Mohand, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Abd el Amirouche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pitcairn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corvallis the free kick. A collision led to Pitcairn getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Pitcairn's Mohamed Ben Sifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Bencheikh in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Kader Mohand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Ben Sifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
