In the 31stth minute of the game Chadli Chadl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragons F-C's Hocine Mesbah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hocine Mesbah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chadli Chadl in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Dragons F-C's goalkeeper Hocine Mesbah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karim Kader. Dragons F-C's Hocine Mesbah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chadli Chadl in the 36th minute of play. Hocine Mesbah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chadli Chadl's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Houari Bahari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slimane Gaouaoui having to interfere. Hocine Mesbah made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Karim Kader sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Chadli Chadl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Mesbah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragons F-C's Hocine Mesbah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chadli Chadl in the 54th minute of play. Lounès Abdessalam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chadli Chadl in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hocine Mesbah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Smackover's goalkeeper Slimane Gaouaoui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Houari Bahari. Chadli Chadl took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hocine Mesbah. Hocine Mesbah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Houari Bahari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dragons F-C booed when Smackover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chakib Madjer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lounès Abdessalam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Slimane Gaouaoui. That made the score 3-1 in the 76 minute of play. After some careless play in the Smackover defense, Houari Bahari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Slimane Gaouaoui. The Smackover fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Slimane Gaouaoui should have stopped the shot. If Lounès Abdessalam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelhamid Sad's late challenge caught a Dragons F-C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Slimane Gaouaoui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Houari Bahari in the 97th minute.
