In the 41st match minute, Abu Dhabi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amine Boudjedra to maneuver through the defense. Mohamed Mezair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasdi Maroc having to interfere. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
