Cabot AFC's Rachid Kourichi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustapha Al-Jazairia in the 7th minute of play. Rachid Kourichi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustapha Al-Jazairia in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Cabot AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mehdi Harkat hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustapha Al-Jazairia in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rachid Kourichi saved Cabot AFC from getting behind. Rachid Kourichi came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapel Hill's Mustapha Al-Jazairia. But to his dismay, Mustapha Al-Jazairia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Moulay Bedjaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapel Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Moulay Bedjaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Kourichi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Madhi Djamel managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Cabot AFC's Cheb Bahari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Yasmina Yahia came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chapel Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasmina Yahia couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the game, Chapel Hill's Mustapha Al-Jazairia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rachid Kourichi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mustapha Al-Jazairia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rachid Kourichi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rachid Kourichi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasmina Yahia in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabot AFC's goalkeeper Rachid Kourichi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rachid Kourichi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustapha Al-Jazairia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Mustapha Al-Jazairia put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Rachid Kourichi. After the first half Chapel Hill were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mustapha Al-Jazairia made the kick off in the second half. Cabot AFC's Rachid Kourichi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cabot AFC from getting a goal against them. Cheb Bahari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Moulay Bedjaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Kourichi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tahar Lamine got free with Rachid Kourichi in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cabot AFC's Rachid Kourichi got control of the ball when Halim Firoud tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cheb Bahari charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cheb Bahari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Cheb Bahari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Cheb Bahari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Tahar Lamine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chapel Hill fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tedj Ben Khalidi got free with Rachid Kourichi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
